Call me lazy, but I've always slacked with cooking hard boiled eggs the traditional way. I never knew when they were done and left them on the stove for 20-30 minutes. I am not sure of my microwave's power settings, but cooked large eggs for 10 minutes at the standard setting. They were perfect for me--very slightly jammy at 10 minutes. The shells came off without any difficulty and there was. no dreaded green ring around the yolk. Simple and effective!
